I've been doing professional CG for 14 years now.. (broadcast animation, video games, freelance illustration and feature films) and i have always enjoyed my 'day job' and the roles that i've had in the industry.
however-- my true passion is creating my own visual art! (whether it be 2D, 3D, illustration and/or fine art)
i spend my nights by working in my home studio on my own projects -- going from working on my oil paintings to using the computer (maya, painter, etc) to create the visuals. (and i'm an avid print maker -- currently working on some really cool experimental mixed media projects!)
working on these projects is my 'art therapy' away from my day job.. it's something i truly love and i hope to someday pursue full-time!
